Cat’s In The Craddle
Filed under Curiosities + Random Mental Dishes
I just got notice that the bank account I opened in the 70’s (in my first decade of life) is now officially closed. For years it has just been a lingering relic that I seldom used, but for completely irrational reasons I had never chosen to close it. Well, over the weekend I decided it was time and cleaned out the few remaining funds and asked the bank to close it.
This may sound weird, but I actually felt a little sad/nostalgic when I got the “official” notice.

I know what you mean. It’s like a part of your life is really over. You can no longer go back. The door is closed. It leaves you with a odd feeling for a little while.
