So my current major project is called TRS and I keep laughing to myself about how closely its name resembles the infamous TPS reports from the movie Office Space. I mean really, it’s only a small leg that separates the two. I was laughing about this with one of my colleagues when she said, “You wanna hear something even funnier?”
Apparently the desk that I currently sit at was once occupied by the actress who played Peggy, Lumbergh’s Secretary, in that very movie. She is the one who comes into the cube in the beginning of the movie, when the three main characters are discussing going out to Chotchkie’s for coffee, and she strolls up and says, “Uh oh. Sounds like somebody’s got a case of the Mondays.”
So any guess what my new catch phrase at work is?!? I love it.

Is Monday the beginning of a week or an end of a weekend? Maybe it’s both. In either case, it has to be a good day.

Monday is a no good, very bad day. It needs to be spanked.
