It is time for the blood drive at my office again. Call me crazy, but I love blood drives. I always have. It’s such a simple yet profound way of giving. I’ve always found it to be so amazing that we can literally share our essence with another. I mean in this one simple act you can truly save lives with just a few minutes your time. How powerful!

In other news, I had a wonderful weekend. The cold and rain really made it perfect for snuggling down, watching movies, reading and just relaxing. I love listening to the rain fall, feeling the cool crisp air on my skin, and resting in that soft grey-blue light that filters down through the clouds. It was really lovely.
