Had an interesting discussion with a friend tonight. So is there a difference between the people you would save from drowning vs. the people who were trapped in a burning building? Is there anyone you know who you would actively NOT save? Who would you go into a burning building for? Who would you swim for? If they are not the same, what’s the difference?

Let’s turn this around. If you were in a burning building or drowning, who whould you want to save you? How much would you hope they cared?

I think the value of a person’s life is more important than a temporary feeling of like or dislike. Determining value or lessons, is not for us to decide. Judgment is not our responsibility.
