Leviticus 19:19 [REVISED] Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee: neither shall a garment mingled of ninety-nine percent cotton and one percent spandex come upon thee, especially such garments as are sewn into jeans. That shall be an abomination unto you.

I hope the denim abominations were short jeans. That sounds like it could be it’s own kind of purgatory!

There’s something in the bible about pantyhose too.
“And thou shalt wear them in the summer in places of heat and so shall ye sweat as if linen and woolen are upon thee.”
