I love to see what Netflix recommends for me based on how I rated other movies. Apparently because I enjoyed “Madonna, the Video Collection” and I enjoyed “Maurice” (based on the novel of young homosexual love, by E.M. Forster) Netflix is sure that I will enjoy, “Pet Shop Boys: Pop Art”.
Truth is…they are probably correct. I just love how they put those two things together to get the other. Damn good algorithm!

Can someone please look into the DSM IV and tell me what the clinical diagnosis is for an individual who can not grasp the concept that other individuals do NOT reside in HER mind, nor are they privy to her private thoughts and actions. I have a client with this disorder.
Last week she sent me an e-mail and asked me to get her something that looked just like what she was holding in her hand. Now today I received and e-mail asking me what she had just done wrong with a file. SHE WORKS IN A DIFFERENT BUILDING. How should I know?
(Now this is not a case of “Devil Wears Prada” where she simply delights in assigning the impossible, etc. My client just seems unaware.)
Perhaps I am taking it all wrong and the truth is…she has at last realized that I am omniscient! Only, I’m also malicious enough to keep my great talents hidden and refuse to help her.

What would you do with a million dollars? Well one ingenious young lad from England realized that he had a million pixels. Now pixels certainly arent the same thing as dollars Or are they? He is selling his for $1 each.
Who would be foolish enough to buy such a thing? Take a look at Million Dollar Homepage. Where there is a will, there is a way. So you have to wonder, what is YOUR big idea?

I heard recently that a dog is typically the equivalent of a three-year-old child, in terms of their behavior, how they obey, what they are capable of understanding and what not. I find this fact fairly fascinating and to some extent I can see the reasoning behind the theory. But all Im saying is, one of the researchers aught to stop by in the evening sometime and watch c-dawg as she transitions from three-year-old to a crotchety old man!

Hey, I usually appreciate warm weather much more than cold, but even I am a bit remiss when the temperature is in the 70s over the holidays. I mean, come onId be happy for a nice 40 or upper 30s, nothing actually dipping into freezing, but at least cold enough for hot-toddys, blankies, warm fires, snuggly clothes and comfort food like stews, soups and chili.
If I wanted shorts, frozen cocktails and light fruit salads for Christmas I would have moved to Florida or sunny southern Cal.

Maybe it was all the good eatin yesterday or maybe it was just knowing that I didnt have ANY solid plans for the day, but whatever the reason it sure was nice to just laze about and relax today. Tomorrow its back to the world of objectives and projects.
But I have to say, its hard to believe that another year has passed and another Christmas has come and gone.

Some of the best moments in life are the very simple ones; for instance, hand washing/drying dishes while laughing and chatting in a crowded kitchen after a wonderful meal prepared with much love. I cant begin to count the number of times while experiencing that exact moment I felt tremendous joy and gratitude.
And just think, if I hadnt been paying attention, I might have missed them.
Merry Christmas and Joy To The World.
